Matt Gregg will begin his 8th season as head coach of the Knights in 2015. After seven years at the helm, Gregg has led WPC to a 102-104 overall record and the CCC post-season tournament five times. Inheriting a team predicted to finish in 11th place in 2009, Gregg guided the team to a 10-10 record in CCC play and to a berth in the semifinals of the conference tournament. In his second season, the Knights finished with an 18-10 record overall and a second-place finish in the CCC at 13-5.

The Knights finished the 2011-12 season with 20 wins - the most wins for the program since 2006 - and posted a 13-5 record in CCC play once again.

Since coach Gregg arrived, 15 players have been named CCC All-Conference, 3 have been named NAIA All-American, 10 have been awarded NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and 21 have earned CCC All-Academic honors.

Coach Gregg also enjoys teaching basketball skills to youth basketball players and hosts annual summer camps for boys and girls in the third through eighth grades.

Prior to taking the head position at Warner Pacific, Gregg was the head girls basketball coach at Freeman High School in Spokane, Wash. During his five years as there he accumulated a record of 103-24 while leading the team to three state tournament appearances. The highest finish occurred in 2005, when Gregg piloted the team to a second place finish. For his efforts that season, he was selected as the all-state Coach of the Year at the Class A level.
